April Showers Bring May Flowers · Spring Workshop · Ages 6-10

Monday, April 20th 2:30-4:30 - $70

Students will design and decorate a real paper parasol using watercolor and tissue collage techniques inspired by rain, flowers, and spring patterns. Working panel by panel, we’ll explore color blending, repeating shapes, and simple pattern design to transform each umbrella into a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art.

To finish the workshop, students will create a large watercolor flower using oversized coffee filters, experimenting with color and layering to build soft, sculptural petals.

Students will leave with a decorated sun parasol and a giant handmade flower to welcome the spring season.

All supplies included. Dress to make a mess.

Minimum of 6 registered makers for class to run, Maximum of 10
