The MAKEart Pocket Gallery is a small public art gallery in Downers Grove, Illinois, featuring rotating exhibitions of original artwork by local artists and students. Located near downtown Downers Grove, it is viewable from the sidewalk and open year round.

June 2025 - Evidence of Celebration
The Pocket Gallery appeared to be preparing for Pride Month. Visitors observed handmade signs, rainbow banners, pizza boxes, and evidence of ongoing activity inside the gallery.
June 1st 2025 - Art Belongs to Everyone
Artist: Heather Klausa
A temporary window mural installed during the opening weeks of The Pocket Gallery. Created in recognition of Pride Month, the mural transformed the gallery's exterior into a public artwork visible to pedestrians at all hours.
October 2025 - Portraits of Monsters
Studio Students from MAKEart Studios
Presented in ornate miniature frames and sculptural displays, this collection of monster portraits explored the personalities, habits, and appearances of creatures rarely encountered in everyday life. The exhibition was presented by The Pocket Gallery during its temporary residency at the Downers Grove Public Library.
