please excuse our dust · mini art exhibition coming soon
The Pocket Gallery is a permanent miniature exhibition space built at approximately 1:12 scale, located down the street from the Main Street Train Station in Downers Grove. Viewed entirely from the outside, the gallery compresses the experience of a contemporary exhibition space into an intimate public format. The structure measures roughly 21 inches square and just over 16 inches tall. Exhibitions rotate throughout the year and remain visible from the sidewalk day and night.
While compact in scale, the gallery is intended to support thoughtful exhibitions, close looking, and repeated discovery within the surrounding neighborhood.
Prepping for our first show in the gallery’s permanent location
The Gallery hosted it’s first show, Portraits of Monsters at the Downers Grove Public Library this past Winter, featuring artwork by students from MAKEart Studios.
