A series of itty bitty insect portraits, painted in gouache. Specimens were spotted, collected, and observed while in Michigan on a family vacation. My children would call attention to these tiny creatures throughout the day and I would quick snap a photo and paint them the next morning before the house woke. Shown at Arc Gallery Chicago, 2019
