Supply Suggestions

Necessary Supplies : It’s really up to you, use favorite media and what you have around. I always like having a heavier paper at my hand, like a 140# watercolor paper, a set of watercolors or gouache paint, a brush ( I prefer a synthetic round #6 as a starting point), mixing palette (you can use a plastic disposable plate or a porcelain one from the thrift store, paper towels, water cup, tape ( I recommend painters tape) and a set of colored pencils or maybe some Posca Pens. Those are my go-to’s, but use what you like and have available. You will need some sort of paper and drawing material at the very bare minimum.

If you’re interested in some my my personal favorites check out this blog post.

Challenge yourself to add emotions, have some look angry, curious, guilty, cautious. See what placement of eyes, eyebrows, and mouth can do to describe attributes of your character.
