Continuing Watercolor for Adults
Already taken a beginning watercolor course at MAKE? Keep growing as an artist and join others in learning more and continuing to grow.
This studio time will be spent experimenting with different watercolor techniques. Students will be exposed to a variety of practices and materials that will help them become more comfortable working with a variety of watercolor products. We will learn beyond the basic supplies and tools and continue to learn how to create textures, layer in shadows, create highlights, and use atmospheric perspective to our advantage when using watercolors. A variety of subject matter will be offered as well as students will be encouraged to bring in their own paintings in as well.
*Class on September 5th will attend the Loose Watercolor Floral workshop taking place from 7-9:30. This workshop will focus on loose florals, even if you have already attended this workshop previously, new skills and time to practice and grow will be beneficial.
