Come spend our hour exploring new materials and ideas through play and art making with your family, ages 1-6. Our experiences will rotate around a theme that changes weekly, typically driven by observations in nature around us. We will start the session with a group activity and then turn our attention to experiences at the sensory bins, easels, and developing fine motor skills with 2-D and 3-D art materials.
We will be outside if weather permits. Expect children to spend the majority of time exploring materials and sensory experiences and produce process orientated artworks.
This class is designed to provide you with a variety of fun activities that engage both you and children ages 1-6. A Caregiver plus 1-2 children are welcome. Though it probably works best if you have no more than 2 children to keep your eye on, if you have a sleeping baby that is happy hanging out in the stroller or in a sling- then rock on mom, all are welcome and you know you and your family best.
Remember to dress yourself and children to get messy. Small group instruction (Min. 4 registered children Max. 10 *$30 discount off of monthly fee for 2 registered participants from same family.
